Coral Shopper Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement to Terms: By placing an order with Coral Shopper, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Shipping & DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy.
2. Limitation of Liability: Coral Shopper provides live specimens for aquarium use only. We are not responsible for any damage, loss of livestock, or equipment failure that may occur in your personal aquarium after a specimen is introduced. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the item(s) sold.
3. Chargebacks: By checking the “I Agree” box, you acknowledge that our DOA Policy is the sole method for resolving livestock issues. You agree not to file a credit card dispute or chargeback before contacting us and following the DOA photo documentation process.
4. Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Sussex County, DE.
5. Professional Advice: Information provided on this site regarding coral care is for educational purposes. Success in reefkeeping depends on your specific equipment and water chemistry.
6. Compliance with Local Laws & Regulations It is the sole responsibility of the customer to determine if the livestock or products ordered are legal to possess, import, or inhabit within their specific state, county, or municipality. Coral Shopper does not provide legal advice regarding regional invasive species lists or restricted wildlife acts. By placing an order, you certify that you are in compliance with all local regulations. Coral Shopper is not liable for any livestock seized, destroyed, or for any fines incurred due to local regulatory violations.
7. Carrier Delays and Weather: While we guarantee live arrival based on our DOA policy, Coral Shopper is not responsible for service delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, mechanical failures, or other “Acts of God.” Shipping costs are non-refundable once the package has been accepted by the carrier.
8, Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. Coral Shopper reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason, including but not limited to the health of the livestock or concerns regarding weather conditions during transit.
9. Intellectual Property: All content on this site, including but not limited to images, product descriptions, logos, and 3D design files, is the property of Coral Shopper. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials is strictly prohibited.
